First day on the Job
I'm excited about my first day of work! But i'm also a bit nervous about all that technical stuff. Bank bags, ' Floats ', Sums... i can't stand all that stuff it makes me nervous. I'm really bad with numbers. Always have been, probably always will be. So besides that, my parents are going overseas this Sunday. Which leaves me alone all by my lonesome here in Australia. They're going to Thailand and Singapore for a holiday, and do they deserve one. They invited me to go but i just don't see myself enjoying either of those places. They both deserve a holiday, especially my dad, who always does everything he needs to do without one breath of complaint. I've learnt from him. I can't wait to buy some clothes today. I have to because i have to wear Obus clothing so i feel a bit less bad ( See " Living Frugally " post below ). I have my eye on the beige cardigan and the tux pants ( Tailored, Beige pants ). I well and truly am a beige girl now. I just think it's the most versatile, clean and good looking color.
The great thing about living and working in the same suburb is that you don't have to pay any money for your Myki and this is a huge relief for me because that thing costs me so much these days. I woke up this morning with this really new feeling. When you realise that you work and live in the same suburb, you feel really safe or something. It's like this provincially warm feeling. There's something kind of village-y about it. I definitely will be blogging about how my first day at work went. Fingers crossed i don't do anything stupid.
