LIFE AS YOU KNOW IT

Sorry about the lack of posts recently. I've been taking on a lot of writing work including some new start ups and an essay I'm writing about shopping addiction for the next issue of Voiceworks. The theme is ' Habit '. Go figure! That's about it really. I write everyday now. Funny how you come from not doing anything to doing it everyday. It kind of slipped into my life as if i were unconscious. I woke up not realising that i'd been writing everyday for the past four months. It's a lot easier though when you have deadlines and emails from editors detailing what they expect from you though. I'm writing an accompaniment essay to my friends Art opening next week. It's about 'Dreams'. Like life dreams. I'll post a scan of it after the shows opening night. 

Seinfeld and Writing. LOVE IT

I've been getting some life questions in my inbox for my Advice column on Crisp. I can't wait to show you guys what i've said. It's cool how i've actually GOTTEN some questions. I was really scared that nobody would send anything in. Reading those questions really broadens my mind about the world. There are people out there with problems too. Here i am lamenting about my own when everywhere there are people who are experiencing things that might be completely different to me but just as hard if not harder. The things i've read also spark a sense of familiarity to me. Some problems are exceptional but some we all relate to and it's those that really say something about the nature of life, i think. 

So into this!

I'm also super excited because there are going to be SO many new places to shop in the next two months ( H&M, COS, UNIQLO ) . One of my favorite brands ( which i have yet to own anything from ) has just opened their first Australian store. A.P.C is this amazing French label that make really good quality basics which on top of that, are always cut so well. I went to the store yesterday and spotted this beauty ( above ) and i'm considering putting it on lay-by next week.
