Good Morning!

I just had a shower and it's Sunday. Sunday's have always been one of my favorite days. One, because tomorrow is Monday which means the advent of a brand new week and two, i love Sundays because of how breezy and easy they are. The advent of a new week always excites me because i always think, " Nothing new could possibly happen this week" but then something always does! It's a really good feeling, one of those feelings that makes you think there are things beyond yourself that are constantly at work and that nothing you can do can stop it in its tracks. I've been really enjoying using my Herbal essences shampoo. Remember those 90's ads for them? With those models with amazing hair? I love the packaging. You get the gel-ly shampoo and behind it is that really ornate picture of a daisy or some fruits or something. I totally get bought over by packaging.

Tomorrow is a new week, as i've stated again and again and i'm currently polishing up this entry i'm entering into a competition for short stories. I'm up against people who are WAY beyond my league but i have some weird feeling that even if I don't make it through to the short list ( which won't happen... like let's be realistic ), they'll kind of enjoy what my story is about. Which concerns everybody who wakes up, brushes their teeth and goes to work. Sounds simple, but there's no such thing as a simple day. I've got a new article which is about to be published any day now in this Brisbane journal called, " LYRE " that should be out in the next couple of days. In fact, when it does come out, you can read the entire issue for free! My article is about 'standards'. OK, so i really hope i get somewhere today with my story that i'm submitting because it's getting to that " CLIMAX " point where everything has to be tied up in a paragraph or less. Hard, hard work!
