What Life Insurance is

I was watching TV last night and a Life insurance ad came on. You know those ads? For like Allianz or AAMI or something. Those packages that you can buy incase your car breaks down or someone breaks into your home or something like that. I got to thinking about the name. LIFE INSURANCE. Well, yeah your car is a part of your life and so is your house. But what about you as a person? Who has life insurance themselves these days when something fucked up happens? Will you be able to retrieve into your sanctum of self-reliance that is.... life insurance?

I want to write a PDF book about it ( which is so like DIY at home publishing :-) ) when i get my laptop back. How do we get life insurance for our lives and not for our car? Basically, it all goes back to the self and like being alone and all that shit that i ALWAYS harp on about. Not having a laptop is really giving me the shits by the way. Like i hate having to walk all the way here from my bedroom to use a shitty PC. But anyway, Life insurance. Having enough " Stuff " in you that you can say something like, " I've got life insurance " to someone who says " What if he doesn't like you? " or " What if you don't win that competition?".

I guess Life insurance is just a fancy way of saying self-reliance and confidence. But to me, there's something more to it than that. We have to 'insure' our lives in someway. Because even though things might be all dandy one day, things are continuously changing and evolving. Sometimes for the worst. I had no idea that this year would be this terrible. According to my mother, it's because it's the year of the Horse and all Horses are having shit years at the moment. I'm not so sure about that logic but i am having a really bad year. How's my life insurnace? I HAVE NONE! It might seem dodgy to read a PDF book about life insurance from a writer who says they don't have one but that's precisely how i can write the book. I can tell you what to do to get it. In other news, there's this really important essay that i got to write that's due this Saturday which i haven't done, AT ALL. I set up an alarm on my clock at 8:30PM to do it, we'll see how that goes.
