Sometimes, all you need is to look at someone else

I'm having quite a few literary crushes at the moment and you know what? They are good because when i look at these women ( and men ) i just think, " I wanna be exactly like them " and it gives me motivation to write and to work. Last week it was Carson McCullers and this week it's Francoise Sagan. I can't get enough of these amazing literary femmes with their short hair and their slick outfits, splayed on the floor or upright before a desk tapping out their hearts onto the page. It makes me want to be seen like them. I want to be like Francoise Sagan. Cool, successful, emotional but never whiney and donned simply in black pants and black tops with the odd stripe now and then too. I love Sagan because she writes about life in such a leisurely way. It seems as if everyday could be a holiday for her. Her spare time is filled with parties, flings, events and socializing and the biggest dilemma in life is who to fall in love with next? Her being French just makes things even more dreamy.
