What's been happening

I'm buckling down with my saving for Japan this week. I want to have as much spending funds as possible because i know there's going to be so many awesome goodies to be had

It's funny because about five minutes after i did these, i got sick of them and switched to safe old maroon

Urgh! It's been a hot day. I'm not going to whinge about it so let's just say, yeah.. it's been hot and i don't like it at all ! Life's been fantastic recently and i've been super happy and productive as well. I feel really good about being productive although i have nothing really to show for it because i've just been applying for heaps of things and entering into competitions so who knows what the outcomes for those things are? Today was super regular. I went to work and then came home. I was super eager to get home before all the hustle and bustle of the White night crowd starting to bubble around in the city. So i basically just scooped up my bag and left as soon as my supervisor called our shift over. I did however stop by Quick Brown Fox to have a look before i took the train and bought a new pair of very big navy blue sunglasses which i took a photo of in the post just below this one.

Life feels good when you're happy not only for the obvious reason that you are happy but also because nothing feels like a drag. Everything is worth looking into, exploring, venturing forward with. You never stop and ask yourself if this 'thing' is worth your precious energy. I have an old friends engagement party that's coming up in two weeks and i am super, super excited about that. I get to wear my new dress, tassel earrings and my gold bag and some nice lipstick as well. There really is something super special about dressing up. It does make you feel different when you look different on the outside. I never get glammed up usually so for me to be wearing that kind of stuff is kind of an event in itself. It's weird that i'm finally at that age where it's not odd for people to start getting married and having babies. You never think you'd be ready for that when you were young and although it's not strange anymore, i'm not sure if i can say i'm ' used ' to it yet. Next week i'm catching up with my Life coach and probably going to see some of my mates. Every week counts down closer to Japan which makes me both excited and giddy to be at the airport jetting off again!
