Apartamento

This is totally shameless self apartment promotion, but for those who are a bit curious of my living quarters here are some photos. I love looking at peoples homes. I'm one of those people that come to your house and sit on your couch and just look and look around for ages. You guys always seem to think i'm bored, but i'm not. I could look around your home for ages. I love spaces. Whats more, i love to do up spaces. Filling spaces up with stuff i like, photos i like. I've always been extremely visual and i've always loved aesthetics and style. I've been through a whole bunch of phases and i guess this Japanese meets Swedish style is what defines me most recently. Who knows where it'll go in the future? Hopefully it won't go anywhere new, i'm so sick of going through phases.

For anybody reading overseas or if you just stumbled across this blog, I live in Melbourne, Australia in an apartment alone. I moved in this year and it's my very first venture into solo living. I really, really enjoy it. I don't think i can ever go back to doing share housing. I've done my share housing year and that was a very eventful year but i think solo living is really for me.

A painting that i whipped up last night.

What do you think of that cushion on the wall look? The idea came to me very suddenly and out of the blue when i was walking from the living room to my bedroom to get something. That's how all the best ideas come isn't it? Below is my favorite/only tray that i've ever bought. It was imported from Mexico and i got it down this really cool store down my street.
