The best thing about scanning my drawings in, is that my scanner for some reason makes the colors even more vibrant and clear than they already are, so they look better than they do in real life. I've been like a mad woman drawing. Whereas i used to stall and doubt myself before i drew, these days i don't hold onto the reigns. The point for drawing for me is getting into that ' zone ' and forgetting that the time is ticking away. Today i plan to draw some more. It feels good to draw. And my drawings are so wild. You should meet me in real life. In no way do i reflect the energy or the psychedelia of my drawings. I'm so neutral toned in the way i dress and in my aesthetic tastes! I have 15 articles to write by tonight. Wish me luck. I know this order is going to take me well into the night and yet here i am, eating my breakfast in such a leisurely manner as if there were no tasks ahead of me that are so urgent. I also plan to do 2 hours of drawing before i begin these articles. Taking it a bit easy here.
I have my job trial at Obus tomorrow at their Gertrude street store. I hope that i impress them. I really like their clothes. If i do well, then i get to work at the high street store down my street which will be such a joy because i'll be working and living in the same suburb. Plus my two friends work across the road from me in the Obus down my street. It'll be nice to see them during my lunch break when i run over to buy a yoghurt and banana. I want to update my blog all the time because i hate blogs that never update. So i'll write something in here later tonight maybe.
