Well there goes February

Nothing much to report back. I applied for a job that i really want. I keep on applying for these jobs and being like, " THIS is the one I want, no actually THIS ONE ". I think that this is a positive thing though because it shows me that there's no definitive job and that there is always something better out there. For serious. Other than that, it's just standard Yalei Life. Go to work, go shopping, see friends, hang out at home and repeat.

I got the Fujiyama Isabel Marant Jumper !!!! <3

White night was on last night. For those not from Melbourne, it's this Arty festival thing where it starts from dusk and goes until dawn. Yes that's right, from around 7PM till 6 in the morning. OK, that's kind of a lie, i don't know the official opening and closing times of White Night but it basically goes all night. That's the novelty of it. Art galleries stay open, there are festivities, food stalls and when it's over - catching public transport home is a nightmare. I've never been to a White Night and i kind of never want to go because it just feels like New Years Eve. It's crowded, loud, messy and there are people everywhere not looking where they are walking whilst they yell and scream without compunction.

I haven't heard many good reviews on White Night, so i was totally OK with not being there and having the night i did last night instead. For some reason i was so tired from work even though i had a fair nights sleep the night before. Before coming home, i had a really big dinner with my mum and dad. When i came home i watched the Lion King in Bed and reminisced about growing up in the nineties. It just felt like one of those really wholesome evenings where things were the way that they should be. Hungry? Eat. Tired? Go to Bed. I think that's why people who live really simple lifestyles are happy. It's basically just satisfying the basic needs and nothing more. Things are always better when they are left to be simple.

I watched The Body Guard for the first time ever last night. I watched it for Whitney because she's fucking beautiful and amazing but the movie sucked.

My Internship is going well. I'm learning heaps about business and the industry and i have to say, it's a lot easier than i thought it would be. I think the aim of all businesses is just to win and to get bigger and you can do anything to make this happen as long as it's not illegal or infringing on copyright laws. The possibilities are endless and the most important thing is presenting your brand or company in a light that makes you seem trustworthy, funny, human and most of all interesting and in touch with something other businesses aren't. The best part of the internship is actually going there in the morning. Catching the train at 7.30AM with my dad and commuting with all these other business people in the morning. I know they probably do more important things than me and have proper paid jobs, but in regardless i still feel like i'm one of them.
