Today, i officially booked my tickets to Japan for next year! I'm so excited. Not only did i get to go overseas twice this year ( even though NZ is such a non event, it's still technically overseas ) but now i have something new to look forward to for next year. I've been wanting to travel to Japan for so long seeing as i'm so into their culture and all their little idiosyncrasies. I'm going alone again. I wish i could go with someone but I don't think anybody can. I get kind of amazed when people manage to organize travel plans with friends. It must be so nice to have someone designate this entire amount of time for you and this holiday. Even if it's in advance, i can't imagine anyone ever doing that for me. My dad is really uncomfortable with the idea of me going to a non English speaking country. For me, that's half the fun ( and challenge ). It'll be good to go overseas on a yearly basis. I think this is what i'll endeavor to make happen from now onwards. It's good for your soul and your mind to go abroad.
