2014 Favorites

I used this all the time last year and will probably continue buying it after the tube runs out. It claims to create this ' glove like ' barrier against your skin to prevent it from getting dry. The weird thing is, it totally feels like it. My hands are always exceptionally smooth after i use this. Definitely would recommend to you guys. 




These charcoal masks by Daiso are amazingly effective for what you pay. $2.80. You wouldn't think that would amount to much but every time i use this, my skin looks completely new. Like freakishly so. I even bought it with me to NY because i loved it so much. It's super fun to use too. You just smooth it on your face, wait for 15 minutes and peel off



Revlon Just kissable Balm Stains. If i had to bring just one beauty product with me to a deserted island, i would probably bring this. I own the one on the very far left. The shade is called " Romantic " and I like it because it gives just the right amount of color without going overboard. I like subtlety most and this gives just that. You can get away with this shade anywhere.




EOS lipbalm. I don't know if you can even get it here in Australia yet but if you are in the states, get one of these. They aren't just beautifully and creatively packaged but the balm itself is also smoothing and refreshing too. I own the green one which is the melon flavored one.



The Kit Soy Candle range. I wish these had a longer burning time ( i probably just burn candles too often though ) because they smell gorgeous and come in awesome packaging that feels way too good to throw away. If you're anything like me and prefer to get higher quality candles, these ones totally fit the bill.



Muji Underwear.
It seems like a bit of a rip to spend anything more than 10 dollars on singlets and underwear but i would have to disagree. I used to feel the same and still have a strong penchant for K-mart underwear but the Muji singlets are another story. I mean it sounds kind of odd to harp on about a singlet but these are perfect. They don't make my arms look fat, are super light weight and are cut perfectly. Seriously, i am all for these.


Buying this product originated from my desire to use a bar of soap to wash my face. I didn't want to use a squeeze pump anymore and liked the immediacy and functionality of soaps for face. I wanted to get up, lather up, rinse and then leave. I didn't think there were any facial soaps until i came across these and i'll be using this for the many years to come. It's gentle, has no fragrance ( so rare ) and just aesthetically, i think it looks pretty good too
